FAQ

  • What age groups is this academy suitable for?

We are happy to open this training academy up to youth  born between 2008-2017.

  • Is there a rainout plan?

In the event there is inclement weather causing a City of Edmonton field closure (such as a thunderstorm), or air quality (AQI) warning of 7 or higher at time of session, missed sessions will be rescheduled to Sunday evenings.

Any session cancellations due to the above factors will be communicated via TeamSnap messaging by 5pm or at the field if a game-time decision is made.

  • What happens if I need to withdraw my child or request a refund?

If, after registration, you need to withdraw your player from the Academy, please email mark@triplekick.ca. A full refund, less a $50 administration fee, will be issued if a withdrawal request is communicated to Mark within seven (7) days of registering. Withdrawal requests submitted after seven (7) days of registering will be subject to review - TripleKick reserves the right to decline a request.

If a player incurs an injury players can receive a pro-rated refund for all remaining sessions, or a full refund if the program has not yet begun. Withdrawal for medical-related reasons must be verified with a physiotherapist's or doctor’s note.

  • How many certified coaches will be on the field?

To uphold our standard for high-quality and individualistic training, our sessions will inlclude a Lead Coach plus additional coaches at an 8:1 ratio.

  • What is included in the registration fee?

The registration fee includes a full training kit (shorts, shirts, socks) and ten (10) training sessions.

  • How will players be grouped?

While it is likely players will be grouped with other players of similar age, our primary grouping method will be skill-based, not age-based.
